From standard machine colour prints to complex hand printing we apply the same care and skill to ensure the best possible image.

For truly individual and creative effects we can apply our knowledge and understanding of the chemical and physical processes of colour imaging with stunning results. For example simply 'pulling' or 'pushing' negatives or applying the techniques of Cross Processing can transform a picture and produce a fascinating and artistic result.

Black & White

Black and White photography is enjoying a well deserved revival.
A black and white picture can be anything from subtle or nostalgic to strong and sharply defined. The image can be immensely evocative and allows the photographer scope for classic or truly innovative interpretation of his subject.

The extensive range of tones and finishes possible from a monochrome negative makes this an ideal format for all areas of photography, from weddings and portraits to landscapes and industrial.

We have a black and white department that can make full use of the traditional skills and modern developments in black and white processing and printing.

We will work with you to create the image that you want.

Transparencies

We can process all forms of E6 slide films and make transparencies up to 5x4 size.

Transparencies are the preferred format for submission to picture libraries and we take care to monitor our processing continuously to ensure the quality you need. This medium is also ideal for presentations where 135mm transparencies can be made economically from negatives, discs and flat artwork or photographs.

For high quality reproduction work where images may be required for publishing or for copy work of artworks we can make large format transparencies. These are made with the utmost attention to colour matching and density to ensure accurate reproduction of the original.

Many photographers feel that working with transparencies not only makes commercial sense for them, but also gives a greater richness and saturation of colour. We are happy to discuss photographic mediums with our clients, to suggest suitability for varying subject matter and purpose and to explore the possibilities with them.
